JUNIOR CRICKET CLINIC

On Tuesday, 2 June, Australian Test spinner Nathan Lyon will be in Orange for an exclusive junior cricket clinic at Wade Park.

This clinic is designed for committed and passionate cricketers aged 10–15 years who love the game and want to develop their skills alongside level 2 coaching staff and one of Australia’s greatest spin bowlers.

👥 Ages 10–15 years

LIFE MEMBER SHOUTOUT

Last, but certainly not least, our longest serving member of this crew, Wal Brien. Wal joined the St Pat’s Juniors in the mid-2000s when Bailey started playing. Through the years, Wal has held almost every position you can think of. Secretary, Treasurer, Vice-President of both Senior and Junior, Registrar, uniforms, balls, trophies, Coach. Wal has done it all. On top of his vast array of services to this Club, Wal has served as Secretary of both BDJCA, BDCA & BOIDC (still in this position, and also currently sits as Vice-President of BDCA. Teams need to get entered into PlayHQ by somebody, and it is this man who uploads all Senior team lists. Whenever it is time to lay Covers, Wal is always there without fail. Wal’s approach is “this needs to get done” and that’s what he does.
Every Club needs a Wal Brien, and we are forever indebted to this man for everything he has done and continues to do.
