On Thursday June 15th, the DDSA Interschool Hockey Lightning Carnival was held at Challis Primary School! Three schools took part. Challis Primary with two teams, Kelmscott Primary and Westfield Primary! In a much closer affair this year, congratulations goes to Kelmscott Primary for taking it out once again! They just got over the line from one of the Challis teams! Well done to every player that took part and to the teachers that encourage the awesome sport of hockey in our area! A Big Thank You young Declan and Toby from our Men's team for umpiring on the day, and also to Mr Alec Gibson from Challis Primary for being thoughtful enough to gather all of our Dale Hockey Club Year 5/6 players representing their schools on the day (and our two umpires), for some great photos! We also had one of our Junior coaches, Laura, conducting some clinics at Challis in the weeks leading up to the event, and one of our Women's players, Pyper, was recruited by her old school, Kelmscott Primary to help with some training too! Our Club is extremely proud to continue to support this event each year.
