With poly strings, you should consider reducing your tension by 5-10% from what you normally get. Q3) I want more power, what tension should I use? A3) 2-3lbs lower than the manufacturer's recommended midpoint. Many professionals are going lower still, with some professionals having their racquets strung in the low 40s. You'll want solid technique to get the most of string tensions this low.
