๐ Hills Spirit FC AGM - We Need You! โฝ
Our AGM is on this Sunday, 20 September at 5pm in the Irish Bar at The Fiddler, and this year weโre asking our Hills Spirit community to seriously consider putting their hand up to help.
Some of our long-serving and incredibly hardworking committee volunteers are standing down this year. After giving so much of their time to the club, theyโve earned a well-deserved break and the chance to spend more time with their families.
To keep Hills Spirit running and continue providing a great playing experience for our members, we need some new volunteers to step up and get involved.
And volunteering doesnโt have to mean taking on a huge commitment.
If events are your thing, you could help with fundraising or even take responsibility for just one event during the season. Good with rosters and organising people? Ground managing might be the perfect fit. Love organising equipment and playing shirts? Equipment Manager could be your calling!
There are lots of different ways to help, and sometimes sharing a role or taking responsibility for one particular job can make a huge difference.
You wonโt be thrown in the deep end. Support and guidance are provided for every role, with experienced people around to help you along the way.
Our committee meetings are casual, held once a month at The Fiddler, and we know everyone has work, kids and other commitments. Itโs okay if you canโt make every meeting - we genuinely appreciate whatever time and help you can give.
