Parts have arrived for Manic and she is soon to be on her way to the doctor to be checked over and fixed/upgraded. Not long and she’ll be back out there 👌🏼

Even though she shut down yesterday we did a clean up today to make the car ready to sit for awhile before we get the shifter sorted. Started and runs a treat, very happy. Order the shifter soon and get that sorted then hopefully tick off a goal….finish a skid at The Bend 😂

So car don’t quite play the game, car was singing, power of new engine is awesome, everything felt right but unfortunately it @ shut off during our first skid….. sounded worse than it was. Car fired up immediately in the pits and has all its gears and no holes in it anywhere there shouldn’t be. Ratchet shifter or shifter cable (or bother) are not playing the game. Car selects gears ok but feels like it’s not engaged properly and when put in neutral still tries to drive so somethings not right there. New shifter and a once over and I think we’re on! Cheers to everyone involved in getting the car to this stage and the people who put in the hard yards to fine tune it to where it’s at, we are definitely close! Cheers to the lads for the help in the pits too, much appreciated.

There will be 4 classes on the day
Young Guns 14 - 17 years - 6 cyl - 8 cyl - ELITE

2 rounds with top 10 finals for each class
A massive 15k prize pool split in each class and paid down to 5th in all classes.

Limited spots for the comp - Entry forms will be screened and successful drivers will be emailed back over the following week as approved

-You will not need to pay until you have secured a spot.
-You will need a current AASA General Speed Licence or AASA Day Licence.
-The Bend has asked for cars to be at a presentable standard so please be mindful of this when entering.

The day will run under AASA insurance and follow all the normal rules for AASA burnout events.

How is everyone, hope you all had a great Christmas and New Year!
Manic is close to ready after losing oil pressure at The Bend and doing itself a mischief….
We hope to be testing shortly and back out soon so keep an eye out for us at up coming events and come and say G’day.
