A journey through cool forests, fern gullies, rolling fog and mountain ridgelines, all beginning beneath the Memorial Cross. This is one of Victoria's premier mountain running destinations, and a place runners return to year after year.

Every distance begins on the steps of the iconic Memorial Cross before descending into the cool forests and volcanic landscapes of the Macedon Ranges. Rolling fog, towering Mountain Ash and rugged ridgelines shaped by volcanic activity make this a genuine mountain running experience.

This one belongs to you. The award is based on runner reviews, so every rating and every bit of feedback helped make it happen. Thank you.

Even better, all three Mountain Series races held so far this year have earned Gold. It tells us the trails, the community and the experience are landing just the way we hoped.

A brand-new Trailsplus adventure is preparing to leave the runway… and there’s still time to grab your ticket!

🔥 FLYING HIGH HALF YARDER 🔥
3.53km. 30 minutes. Repeat.
How far will you fly?

Start with a flight plan that suits you — 10km, 21km, 50km, 100km or go ALL IN — and if you’re feeling good when you get there… upgrade mid-flight and keep flying! 🚀

There’s no traditional podium. No 1st, 2nd or 3rd. Everyone has their own destination to chase, but ultimately there can be only ONE LAST ONE FLYING. 🏆
