Wow what a great weekend at Round 1 Cooloola Coast Kart Club.
The conditions were challenging with wet and dry conditions for the day.

It was also the 1st run for our new trailer. Life trackside was a lot more comfortable.

Congratulations to Tim Wagner on taking out 1st place in TaG 125 Restricted Masters.

There were also a few firsts for the weekend
David Ross - 1st race in KA3 Jnr Light (8th)
Tim Ross - 1st race in 4SS Snr Med (4)
Tyler Ross - 1st race in 4SS Snr Light (7)

Even with the rain everyone enjoyed the race meeting.

Thanks again to all those who supported us.

Looking forward to Round 2.

Here's the timetable for this weekend's racing Cooloola Coast Kart Club

Once again this year Northside Kart Supplies will be trackside on both Saturday and Sunday with plenty of tyres, parts and mechanical assistance available.
It's not too late to get your orders in and have it delivered to the track tomorrow.

👉🏼 Gates open tomorrow (Saturday) at 7am. 👉🏼 Social karting/practice starts at 9am.
👉🏼 Entry for all competitors is through the Pit Gate on the corner of Rafter and Runge Road.

Please take note of where to pit this weekend at CCKC.

‼️IMPORTANT PIT BAY INFO FOR THIS WEEKEND - if you park in a SOLD bay that is not yours or in an inappropriate area, you will be asked to move so please take note of the following:

➡️Gates open Saturday 28/2 at 7am
➡️Practice 9am-5pm - you must register for the Social Karting Activity on KOMP and show your registration to the KAC before you are allowed on track

Please have a look at this image of our PIT BAYS at CCKC. It has changed for 2026 and access roads now go from front to back. We will also have this map on the notice board and will have some of our team walking around Saturday to assist you. They’ll be the crew in the Orange hi-vis Pit Allocation vest 🦺

We ask EVERYONE to please be considerate of others and take note of the following:

💛DO NOT PIT in the Yellow bays - these are reserved
🩷DO NOT PIT in the Pink bays - these are reserved for our kart supply shops
💙💚Any Blue or Green bays not marked as sold are available to use
❤️ Red bays are for larger trailers, caravans and big rigs, or if you want some extra space.

SOLD - DO NOT PIT in any bays marked as sold otherwise you will be asked to move (unless it is yours 😉).

⛺️Camping is within your pit bay (or far removed from the actual pit area) and is FREE. No booking required.
🔥NO open fires allowed
💡Generators allowed 6am-10pm only. No power is available.
🪧Do not park in the No Standing zones opposite the haulage company on Runge Road - there will be large trucks coming and going all weekend and if you park inappropriately, your car is at risk of being towed.

Please take responsibility and consider others. We have new people racing for the very first time and others arriving late Saturday/early Sunday so be kind,helpful,patient and friendly! We are in for a GREAT weekend which can only be made possible through everyone’s cooperation. Thank you in advance!
