The Somerset Seals Swim Club is deeply saddened to hear of the passing of our local Member Jimmy Sullivan MP

He was a genuine supporter of our club and community, always taking the time to listen, encourage, and advocate for local families.

His support played an important role in helping bring our new clubhouse to life — something our swimmers and families benefit from every week.

We are incredibly grateful for his contribution and the legacy he leaves behind within our club.

Our thoughts are with his family, friends, and the wider community during this difficult time.

Rest peacefully, and thank you for everything 💙

🏆💙 What a fantastic way to wrap up the season, Seals! 💙🏆

A huge congratulations to all of our trophy winners at Presentation Night – your hard work, commitment and improvement throughout the season has been incredible to watch.🌊👏

To our volunteers, families and committee – thank you for your time, energy and support. Our club simply wouldn’t run without you.

We hope everyone enjoyed celebrating together and finishing the season on such a high!

The pool is looking fantastic and we’re all set for a great afternoon of racing! 💙

A huge shout out to one of our Seals dads for refurbishing our podium – it looks AMAZING! 🙌 ♥️ ♥️

🏊‍♀️ Club Championships – Tomorrow! 🏊‍♂️

📍 Gates Open: 1:15pm
💦 Warm Up: 1:30pm
🏁 First Race: 2:00pm

There may be a little rain around 🌦️ but we’re going ahead (no lightning = we swim 💪). We’ll keep an eye on conditions and update here if anything changes.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 A big thank you to all our amazing families helping out — it takes a village to run these events!

🥤 Don’t forget: no canteen tomorrow, so bring along your snacks, drinks, and everything you need for the afternoon.

Let’s get around our swimmers, cheer loud, and finish the season on a high! 💙
