We have the results from our testing the other week with .richard featuring Ultra 200X, regular TPU, and Duralyte HH220. Have a look and see what Rob and Richard have to say about the testing process. Suffice to say the Aluula is impressive, even without considering it’s half the weight of the regular TPU. Recently, we took some of the new materials alongside fabrics we have been using for some time to .richard for strength testing. We have some exciting projects in the works but before committing to any of them we need to understand the limitations of the materials we want to use.

We recently got some new fabric in from to test and start making some prototypes from. We used some, uh, creative techniques to heat weld the seams and some equally innovative methods to test the fabric to destruction, but you’ll see more of that later. Stay tuned!

The work horse pack of our range, the Overland 60 can really do it all. took an Overland Light and an Access 60 down to Tassie this summer and took some amazing images in the Eastern Arthurs and also got the footage you see in this reel. Be it thrashing through the scrub or abalone hunting on your rest day, the Overland will make it work.

We had a lot of fun a month or so back making a video that takes you through the Whippa hiking pack range, explaining the pros and cons of each pack in the interest of helping you choose the right pack for your next adventure.

This reel shows the Overland 40 and we will have reels for the Colo 55, Overland 60, and Wollemi 90 in the coming week or so. The full video will be up on YouTube soon, so keep an eye out!

We have been putting together a few resources lately with the help of Sammy .air.productions to make it easier to differentiate between the packs in our range and work out what the perfect pack for your next adventure might be.

We will have a video going up soon on Youtube that takes you through our hiking pack range and suggests the kinds of activities and trip lengths that each pack is built for.

We have been advertising the Wollemi 90 Expedition Pack as perfect for pack rafting for some time but we didn’t actually have any evidence to support this.

With this being the case, I called up Sammy .air.productions and asked if he’d be interested to head out for a day of “work” to showcase how this pack does in a pack rafting setting. We had a lovely day frolicking down on the river before being hit by a major storm and having to bail but we got some cool shots before the weather hit!
