💥 250 GAME MILESTONE 💥

⭐ LAURA LAWN ⭐

The Katandra Football and Netball Club is incredibly proud to congratulate the one and only Laura Lawn on reaching the remarkable milestone of 250 Senior Games of Netball.

Laura's journey with Katandra began back in 1996 and has been nothing short of outstanding. Throughout her career, she has celebrated multiple junior and senior premierships, including being part of our memorable 2025 A Grade Premiership side, while also collecting numerous individual honours including Best & Fairest awards and the prestigious Kaye King Award.

A true club person through and through, Laura's contribution extends far beyond the netball court. As a Life Member of the club, she has dedicated countless hours serving on the committee, including 10 years as Secretary, helping shape the club into what it is today.

These days, you’ll find Laura wearing many hats around the club. She is the much-loved Super Coach of our Ready Set Kats program, an umpire, a regular helper in the kitchen, and always one of the first to put her hand up when help is needed at social functions and club events. And when it comes to club functions, Laura’s commitment to a dress-up theme is unmatched. As the club’s reigning Dress-Up Queen, no costume is too outrageous, no theme too difficult, and no wig too ridiculous. Her dedication to the club is second to none.

While Laura has achieved so much on the court herself, some of her greatest joy now comes from the sidelines. Whether it's proudly watching her two boys pull on the boots for Katandra Football Club or enthusiastically cheering on Della in netball, Laura is one of our loudest and most passionate supporters each weekend.

Known as the "smiling assassin" on the court, Laura's determination, competitiveness, and never-give-up attitude have made her a respected teammate, opponent, and friend. Even now, she's often still running long after the final whistle has blown!

Congratulations, Laurz, on an incredible 250 games and for everything you continue to do for our club. Your dedication, passion, and commitment both on and off the court make you a true Katandra legend. We are incredibly lucky to have you as part of our club and can't wait to see what comes next, especially the day we get to see you share the court with your mini me, Della. 🙌🏻💙🏐
