Hamersley Golf Course first light Saturday. Membership fees $220 per year for 36 home & 10 away games

Further information is available on our website on the Constitution and Club rules page that covers most aspects the manner in which the club functions. The advantage of playing with Northside is that the club tees off at first light in summer and winter which suits our members, leaving their Saturday afternoons free. The club plays 8 games per year at other venues and has social events during the

year. The Sandgroper Open Tournament is our major event played over the September long weekend at Hamersley Golf Course. Joining members with an existing GOLFLink handicap are required to play stroke-play and submit 2 score cards from games played with the Club. Joining members without a valid handicap are required to play stroke-play and submit 3 score cards from games played with the Club for handicapping purposes.

Simon and I toured the new Hamersley facilities trying new driving range. All carts are new and putting green extended. Inside meeting area can accommodate 36 and can be reserved if necessary, but they said being 1st group should not be a problem. Plenty of alternate seating inside and out. Cafe opens at 5.30 for coffee and snacks and bar at 11.00. Caddy's (at driving range) provides service at 7th hole and possibly in the future a snack drinks cart will be on the course. Driving range is fenced off and out of bounds.

With deep sadness the Aitchison family wish to advise present and past members and friends of the passing of Dave Aitchison yesterday after a long battle with illness.
Dave will be remembered as a long standing committee member and greatly respected Life Member of Northside Golf Club.
Along with his many golfing achievements, Dave was very competitive on and off the course and had a great sense of humour.
The committee and members would like to express our deepest condolences to Jan and family, Mike and Millie, Paddy, Clint, Troy and their families on the passing of Dave.

As we look forward to the new 2024 season, 2023 marked the end of an era. After 55 years the old clubhouse and tavern were demolished to make way for a new clubhouse and revamped driving range, with work well under way.
Welcome back to our members this Saturday, buoyed by renewed vigour and optimism that our expectations will exceed our abilities to achieve better results this year. 😃😕😖
