Just getting in early with this one! There are no games this Saturday with State Titles on over the long weekend.

📣 A quick reminder for players, coaches and supporters 📣

Umpires are part of our game. Without them, there's no game.

If you've got a genuine question about a rule, you can ask at the interval. Calm, respectful, focused on understanding.

What's not on: challenging decisions, emotional spray, or having a go at the umpire mid-game.

Most of our umpires are volunteers. Many are young. All of them deserve respect.

Let's all play our part.

Round 3 Update and Shout Out! 🏐

Our U8s fought hard in a strong contest, ultimately going down in a tight one. Heads high, girls.

Our U10s absolutely dominated with a massive 15-2 win. What a performance! 👏

Div 6 faced off against the 3rd-placed team on the ladder and put up an incredible fight, only just going down 37-40 in a super competitive match.

Huge thanks to our previous president Danielle Allen for coming along with her family and giving our players a confidence boost for our games.

Div 11 showed fantastic grit and composure, rocking up ready to play only to find out at the last minute that the other team had forfeited. Frustrating way to end the afternoon, but the ladies handled it like pros.

🌟 SHINING STARS OF THE WEEK 🌟

What a weekend for our youngest constellations!

Twinkles (Under 8s) A fabulous season opener for the Twinkles, who got the job done with a fantastic win of their own. Way to go, girls — you all did so good!

Starlites (Under 10s) The Starlites came away with a strong 4–1 win to kick off the season. These players are technically Under 10s, but with some as young as 8, they're already showing what they're made of.

Our brand‑new players showed off everything they've learnt, and our more experienced kids stepped up beautifully. Proud is an understatement.

Little stars, big energy, huge futures. ❤️

🏐 SHOOSH FOR KIDS 🏐

As our season kicks off for another year, a gentle reminder to all our spectators about sideline behaviour.

Shoosh for Kids isn't about staying completely silent. It's about making sure we're all keeping things positive for our players, officials, and volunteers.

The campaign runs across five key themes:

✅ Think before you speak — avoid overreacting to what's happening on court
✅ Keep it positive. Keep it fun. — that's what kids' sport is all about
✅ Remember, volunteers run kids' sport — a little appreciation goes a long way
✅ Respect the referee — they're learning too, and they're doing their best
✅ Let coaches do the coaching — cheer from the sidelines, leave the tactics to them

Let's make this season one our kids will remember for all the right reasons. Go Kariong! ❤️💙
