Last Friday evening we held our club wind-up, and what a night it was! Our biggest ever, thanks to a record number of members this season 👏

We celebrated across the club, presenting our All Bases Covered awards Tee-ball recipients, Little League team achievements & awards, game milestones, Junior Life Members, and Life Members.

A big thank you and recognition to some incredible people:
• Chris Aplin, who received the Barbara Aplin Award for his exceptional States Teeball Coordination.
• Amy Aplin for stepping into the Registrar role just before the season began
• Barbara Aplin, for her tireless work preparing the canteen week in, week out
• Kelly Golding for the huge amount of behind-the-scenes coordination & support throughout the year
• Gus Golding, recognised for his outstanding service as President, as he passes the baton to our new President, Joel Gelding

We were also proud to announce two new Life Members — Brett Higgs and Paul Turkington. Thank you both for your incredible contribution to the club 🙌

After presentations, we rolled straight into the AGM while the kids enjoyed free hotdogs, drinks, and a stack of massive inflatables. A great way to finish the season!

As we look ahead, we’re still seeking a Registrar and a RookieBall Coordinator for next season. If you’re interested, please reach out to Joel at [email protected].

We’re already excited for what’s to come. Next season all Teeball teams, from Rookieball through to Year 7, will be playing on Friday evenings under lights at Morris Buzacott 💡⚾💪

Amazing effort from our Little League Red Sox in the semi-final. After falling four runs behind, the team showed incredible fight to claw their way back late in the game, eventually falling just one run short against a talented Braves side.

Many of our kids were playing baseball for the first time this season, so watching their skills, confidence and maturity grow throughout the year has been incredibly impressive. As coaches, we couldn’t be prouder of the effort, teamwork and development shown by this group all season.

Congratulations to our Under 13 State Team on a fantastic tournament! We are incredibly proud of the effort, teamwork and spirit you showed representing Kardinya Red Sox. ⚾️👏

For some of our players, this game also marks their final Teeball game with Kardinya Red Sox as they age out. It’s always bittersweet to see this chapter come to an end, but we are so excited for what comes next.

Thank you for everything you’ve given to the club, your energy, your smiles and the way you’ve represented Kardy. We wish you the very best of luck as you move into the next stage of baseball and softball, and we hope to see you back on the diamond very soon.

We couldn’t be prouder of our players, coaches and families. Your hard work, commitment and team spirit have been outstanding all season.

💙⚾️A huge congratulations to our final Players of the Week, a well deserved achievement. You’ve all shown great effort, teamwork, and improvement, and we couldn’t be prouder.⚾️❤️

To all of our players, thank you for an amazing season. It’s been so much fun watching your confidence grow, your skills develop, and your love for the game shine through each week. Every player should be incredibly proud of themselves.

A big thank you as well to our coaches, families, and supporters for your time, encouragement, and positive energy throughout the season. Community support is what makes Teeball so special.

We hope everyone has a wonderful off-season and we can’t wait to see you all back on the field next year! ❤️⚾️

Don’t forget about the wind up is on the 13th of March as well as the Annual General Meeting! Look forward to seeing as many faces there as possible.

With the majority of this group being first-year Little Leaguers, finishing third on the ladder is an outstanding achievement.
