FOUR PERSON AMBROSE CHARITY DAY 2026 IS BACK

Dust off the clubs, dust off the costumes, and possibly dust off a few golfing skills while you're at it.

This year's Charity Day is once again supporting the Bellbowrie Men's Shed as they raise funds for a new 3D printer. To help make that happen, the Men's Shed legends will be firing up the barbecue with a sausage sizzle for lunch, with all proceeds going directly towards the fundraiser.

Fancy dress is back by popular demand. Gather your team, pick a theme, and commit to it with complete confidence, regardless of how questionable the idea may seem by the morning of the event. The Best Team Outfit prize is up for grabs, and dignity has never been a judging criterion.

There will be great prizes, drink specials throughout the day, raffles drawn at presentation, and plenty of opportunities to support a fantastic local community organisation.

Entry is $30 per player, including a $10 donation to the Bellbowrie Men's Shed.

Shotgun start: 9:15am sharp.

Karana Downs, if you've been craving a proper British chippy tea, your wait is over.

Chippy Chippy Bang Bang QLD is returning to Brisbane River Golf Club from 4:30pm this Friday, bringing all the traditional favourites with them. Think the crispiest fish, golden chips, mushy peas, rich curry sauce and the sort of authentic fish and chips you'd expect to find wrapped up on a seaside promenade in England.

While they're serving up the goods, we'll have live music rolling through the evening and the bar pouring cold beers, wines and all your favourites.

A reminder that entries are still open for our 36 Hole Foursomes Major Championship on Saturday 13 June 2026.

If you haven't already secured your place, now is the time to organise your partner and get your entry in. With both Gross and Nett competitions on offer, there is something for every pair, while the Gross winners will earn the title of Brisbane River Golf Club Foursomes Champions.

The event is open to visitors, with a 7:00am shotgun start and 36 holes of great golf ahead.
