🦁 Around the Grounds – A Message from the Committee 🦁
There has been plenty happening behind the scenes at Lakeside Lions JFC as we continue working to improve our club and facilities for all players, families, and supporters.
✅ What We've Achieved
🚑 First Aid & CPR Training�The safety of our players is always our top priority. We are proud to announce that all committee members have now completed First Aid and CPR training, ensuring we are better equipped to respond if needed.
🥅 New Goals for Field 1�Our brand-new goals for Field 1 have been purchased and are almost ready to go. We are currently waiting on a few additional parts before installation can be completed.
🎤 New PA System�A new public address system has been installed around the grounds, helping us communicate more effectively on game days and during club events.
🧢 Lions Beanies Have Arrived�With the colder weather setting in, our new Lakeside Lions beanies are now available. Stay warm while showing your Lions pride!
🔥 Brand-New Hoodies�Our brand-new Lakeside Lions hoodies have officially arrived and have already been a huge hit around the club. It has been great to see so many of our Lions family proudly wearing the club colours and showing their support.
🏟️ Sponsor Banners�Keep an eye around Webb Park as more sponsor banners continue to go up. We are incredibly grateful for the support of our sponsors who help make community football possible.
🌱 Field Repairs & Maintenance�We have also been working hard on field repairs and maintenance to keep our grounds in the best possible condition. With the recent wet weather, this has been a significant focus to ensure our fields remain safe and playable.

👕 New Merchandise�We are exploring new merchandise ideas and products to give our Lions community more ways to show their club pride.
📺 Digital Canteen Menus�Plans are underway to introduce digital menu boards in the canteen to make ordering easier and improve the game day experience.
💧 Cold Water Refill Station�We are investigating the installation of a cold water bubbler and bottle refill station to help keep our players, officials and supporters hydrated throughout the season.
🩹 First Aid Kits for Every Team�We are working towards supplying all coaches with dedicated first aid kits for their game day bags, ensuring teams have quick access to essential first aid equipment when needed.
🔮 Long-Term Vision for Webb Park
💡 LED Lighting Upgrade�One of our major long-term goals is to upgrade all field lighting to modern LED systems, providing better visibility, improved energy efficiency and a better training environment for all teams.
🏠 Clubhouse Expansion�We are exploring opportunities to expand our clubhouse facilities, including additional storage space and dedicated female change rooms to support the continued growth of football at Lakeside Lions.
🚧 Ground Security & Protection�We are investigating options to fence Webb Park to help protect our playing surfaces and reduce unnecessary damage to the fields outside of football activities.
🌱 Irrigation System�An irrigation system remains a long-term goal to help improve field maintenance, field recovery and overall playing conditions throughout the season.
These projects require significant planning, funding and support, but they reflect our commitment to continually improving the club for current and future generations of Lions.
