Our Annual General Meeting will be held on:

At the AGM, all committee positions become available, giving members of our club community the opportunity to get involved, bring new ideas forward and help guide Lakeside Lions into another exciting year.

Whether you’re interested in taking on a committee position, helping behind the scenes, or simply want to have a say in the direction of the club, we encourage you to come along.

💰 Committee membership is just $2, which allows you to become a voting committee member and have your voice heard at the AGM.

Our club is only as strong as the people who put their hands up to help. Whether you’ve been involved for years or you’re considering getting involved for the first time, everyone has something to offer.

🦁 GRAND FINAL RESULT – U13.1 GIRLS 🦁

What an incredible battle from our U13.1 Girls today. 🧡🖤

Unfortunately, the girls went down 3–2 to Figtree FC in a grand final that was fought right to the very end.
From the opening whistle, both teams gave absolutely everything. Our girls showed heart, courage, determination and an incredible amount of fight, and they should be so proud of the way they represented Lakeside Lions on the biggest stage.

A grand final loss always hurts, especially in such a close contest, but this result does not take away from what this team has achieved throughout the season. Reaching the grand final is a huge accomplishment and something every player, coach, manager and family member should be proud of.

A huge congratulations to Figtree Football Club on the win. We’d also like to acknowledge the incredible sportsmanship they have shown not only today, but throughout the entire season. It has been a pleasure sharing the field with a team that competes hard while showing so much respect and class.

And to our girls — congratulations on an outstanding season. You gave us plenty to be proud of. 🧡

Heads high, Lions. You fought until the very end. 🦁

🦁 GRAND FINAL RESULTS – WHAT A DAY FOR OUR LIONS! 🦁

What an incredible day of football for our Lakeside Lions JFC teams on the biggest stage. 🧡🖤

🏆 U12 Div 2 Mixed – GRAND FINAL WINNERS!
Lakeside Lions 3–2 Bulli JFC

WHAT. A. GAME. 🔥

Our U12s produced an absolutely incredible performance in a grand final that had everything. End-to-end football, pressure, determination, huge moments and plenty of nerves right until the final whistle.

They dug deep, kept fighting and came away with a massive 3–2 victory to be crowned GRAND FINAL CHAMPIONS! 🏆🧡

An amazing achievement from this group and one they should be incredibly proud of.

After Extra Time

Heartbreak for our U13s after an absolute nail-biter.

The boys gave everything they had and pushed the game all the way into extra time before narrowly going down 3–2.

It wasn’t the result they wanted, but the effort, fight and determination they showed was outstanding. To battle through a grand final like that and leave absolutely everything on the field is something to be incredibly proud of.

Both teams represented Lakeside Lions brilliantly today and showed exactly what it means to wear the orange and black.

To the players, coaches, managers, parents and supporters — congratulations on an incredible season and thank you for everything you’ve put into these teams.

One team lifts the trophy, the other walks away heartbroken, but both can hold their heads incredibly high.

And we’re not done yet! 🔥

This weekend, three Lakeside Lions teams will take to the field in their Grand Finals, and we couldn’t be prouder of every player, coach, manager and family involved.

Your hard work, determination and effort throughout the season have earned you this opportunity. You have proved that you deserve to be playing on the big stage, and now it’s time to go out there, enjoy the moment and give it everything you’ve got.

No matter what happens, making a Grand Final is an incredible achievement and something every player should be extremely proud of.

We encourage our entire Lakeside Lions community to get behind these teams this weekend. Wear your orange, bring the noise and help us FEAR THE ROAR! 🦁🔥

A massive thank you also goes to Unanderra Hearts - Junior Club for hosting this year’s Grand Finals, and to all of their incredible volunteers who will be giving up their time to help make the weekend possible. Events like this simply don’t happen without the hard work of volunteers behind the scenes, and your efforts are greatly appreciated. 👏

What a weekend for Lakeside Lions JFC! 🧡🖤

All three of our teams competing in Semi Finals this weekend came away with fantastic wins and have now booked their place in the GRAND FINAL next weekend! 🔥🏆
