U18 EADP TRIALS | REGISTRATIONS NOW OPEN

SA Country Basketball is pleased to announce registrations for the 2026/27 U18 Emerging Athlete Development Program (EADP) trials are now open!

The trials are open for all athletes born in 2010 and 2011, who live in country South Australia.

ONLINE REFEREE COURSE | LEVEL 0

Registrations are now open for the upcoming Online Level 0 Beginner Referee Course for all SA Country Members.

Attendees must attend both modules to pass the theory component of the course. All users will need internet, and a laptop with Zoom installed and a camera to be able to participate

ANNOUNCEMENT | WELCOME TO THE TEAM - LACHLAN WARHURST

We are thrilled to welcome Lachlan Warhurst to SA Country Basketball as our new Basketball Development Officer. Lachlan comes to us with an extensive background in community basketball and said he is excited to be joining SA Country Basketball in the role of Basketball Development Officer and is grateful for the opportunity to assist in the continued growth of basketball along with connecting with associations and communities to support the development of basketball across the region, and helping to create positive experiences and opportunities for all players and coaches.

Lachlan will be starting with us Monday 18th May.

2026 U18 NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS | APPRECIATION

With the U18 Foot Locker National Junior Championships completed for another year we would like to thank our parent group and supporters that have supported our athletes and program, some new and others that have been with us for 6+ years.

We appreciate everything you do in the background to assist your athletes be the best versions of themselves to represent their families and SA Country on the national stage.
