The Junee Juggernauts Junior Basketball Association AGM was held last night and was attended by the committee and only 3 parents/carers. As advertised all committee positions were declared vacant and while there was enough support to maintain a committee the decision was made not to elect at this time due to the ongoing lack of support on the court and regretfully decided to cancel next season and place the club in a state of Hiatus effective 12th of April 2024, unless sufficient support can be rallied from within the community. In order to continue we require more dedicated people to nominate themselves as coaches for U8, U10s, U12s, U14s and U16s that if these positions are not filled prior to the 31st May 2024 in order to register with BB NSW. If you are considering volunteering for a coaching position it is important to note that you do not need any specific skills beyond a desire to help keep the sport alive. Coaching help and training is available in many forms and can be arranged at no cost to you.
We would like to sincerely thank those people who have consistently given up their time to run a court or behind the scenes this season and every season before and urge that if you believe you can help to reach out ASAP via email [email protected]
Lets keep this great club alive for the kids that enjoy it so much.
