Preliminary Information (Will be updated):
The Joust at Jumbuk promises to be an enjoyable and challenging event, taking place at the unique and scenic Jumbuk Disc Golf Course. Hosted by the Jumbuk Park Resort on their beautiful mountain property, the dynamic 18 hole course will set the scene for a tournament that should have no shortage of thrills and spills. Registration costs will be $90 per p
erson (plus fees), and that INCLUDES accommodation. However, players will need to bring their own linens/bedding. Registration opens at 8pm on the 29th of August at Disc Golf Scene. https://www.discgolfscene.com/tournaments/The_Joust_at_Jumbuk_2023
There are a total of 7 cabins, each of which has a queen bed, 2 bunk beds, and is able to sleep 6 people. When you register, we will ask what your sleeping preference is. We ask that only couples or people willing to share a bed with a friend sign up for a queen bed. Once the 52 cabin spots fill up, there will only be tent camping options available. So, if you want to be assured a bed, make sure you register ASAP. Jumbuk Park is a private resort, and the owners ask that all players stay at the resort. We will only be able to accommodate people who are actually playing in the tournament. The Jumbuk Park Resort has an onsite pool, fire-pit and other recreational facilities that guests will all have access to at no additional cost. Catering is not available onsite currently, but there is a communal commercial kitchen and BBQ that guests will be able to use (just be sure to clean up after yourself). The venue is BYO alcohol and will not have any available to purchase. More information about Jumbuk Resort can be found here: https://www.jumbukpark.com.au/about. As far as the tournament itself goes, here is what to expect:
