An other great day around Hook Island! Always nice to see white tip reef sharks, stingrays, stone fish, moray eel, crayfish and a juvenile batfish in addition to the usual species that we see everyday.

Padi Women's Dive Day!

Women are more and more important in the world of diving, and we couldn’t be happier! Diving is a world lulled by delicacy and our femininity can only enhance it. Both men and women, love to admire this secret world full of sensuality and strength. Nature makes no difference and opens its doors to whoever wants to participate in the magical process of diving, why would we? We, the Whitsunday Diving Academy, are here to share our passion with as many people as possible, and we officially declare to participate in the Padi Women's Dive Day on July the 15th ! We will take women for some dives in the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park and we can guarantee you that you’ll leave with a whole new smile on your face. There are no reasons to think that this activity has not adapted to women, so if you thought diving wasn’t for you, come change your mind and your perception of the underwater world with us.

A great day and what great comradery between the Whitsunday dive operators. Explore Hamilton Island donated their boat with lunch for the day and invited the dive operators in Airlie Beach and the PADI Regional Manager to dive some of the sites hit by cyclone Debbie in March. This to assess the damage and how to best inform customers that the Whitsundays and Hamilton Island are open for business.
