Don’t know what having a Personal Trainer or having personal training is or means.
Then answer these questions
Are you going to the gym regularly but not seeing any changes or results?
Are you being consistent with your training/tracking of meals/tracking steps?
Do you know what exercises best suit your goals?
Do you keep yourself accountable?

Do you need someone to help give the support, knowledge & guidance for all of the above questions?

If the answer was no to the first 4 questions and yes to the last one, then you need a Personal Trainer to coach you.

Don’t put off something you are unsure or don’t know about, get yourself a coach & get on the right track to get the results.

That’s what I am here for.

Sharon came to me wanting me to a one cardio session with me a week, to help improve her fitness. The video on the left was Sharon in July of last year, it was one of our first sessions, the one on the right was in April this year, so roughly 9 months between the two & she has improved so much, her movement is quicker, her range of motion(ROM) has improved & her recovery time after a burst of movement has shortened. She is another one of my clients that is very determined to improve herself and rises to every challenge I put to her.
It just proves that keeping consistent, showing up, being accountable and listening to your coach will get you the results you want.

It’s been a couple of weeks since my last gym session and I could’ve easily not bothered to come today.

I’m really in the throes of Peri Menopause now and it’s a real struggle to have the energy, motivation or any interest in training. Even though I know how good it is for me & how it once made me feel but my body and head tell me otherwise.
I am on HRT and it has been the best thing for me and I dread to think how I’d be without it, it doesn’t bare thinking about, to be honest. However the struggle is still there when it comes to getting myself psyched up to train.

Why am I telling you this? Because I like to keep things real, I’m open and honest and very transparent and to be honest there’s enough people on social media that like to portray a perfect life, that I’m not going to do the same.

Peri Menopause & The menopause can be very debilitating and affects women so differently. There’s still a lot of stigma around it and we don’t like to admit we are going through it as we are deemed to be officially old and a has been but it’s not the case at all.
Yes it’s not the best thing to be going through, there is treatment you can have, should you want it, but it certainly doesn’t mean we have to give up on enjoying a good life in our older years.

So as much as it’s a struggle to do something that I use to do several times a week without hesitation, I’ll take the wins on the times I actually do.
And so should you!
