Wilderness Sports is currently searching for that one in a million person to join our team this winter as our Perisher store manager.
This role is full time, 5 days per week for the season, based out of our Perisher store.
We aren’t going to beat around the bush, it’s long hours, in store only (guides and instructors need not apply) but we are willing to negotiate pay for the right person and experience! Ideal days will be Thursday-Monday with days off midweek.
You will be in charge of running the store day to day including basic retail (answering phones, handling of payments, opening and end of day procedures), hire fit outs, bookings (hires, tours & lessons), and staff management. You will be required to liaise with our staffing manager regarding rosters on a fortnightly basis.
Knowledge of cross country equipment is advantageous but not essential, we are willing to spend whatever time we need for the right person!
You will be part of a small tight-knit team within a family business, so flexibility & a sense of humour is a must.
Own car and accomodation required. We MAY be able to help finding accomodation but unfortunately cannot include accomodation as part of the package.
