It is with great regret that we announce the cancellation of the 2025 Snowy Classic due to increasing operational costs.

Making its debut in 2022, the Snowy Classic has become a popular event in the cycling calendar thanks to its stunning location set in the Snowy Mountains of NSW, and the opportunity to ride the region on fully closed roads. Unfortunately, the rising costs associated with hosting such an event have become unsustainable.

This decision has not been made lightly and we would like to extend our deep gratitude to the riders, partners, stakeholders, amazing volunteers and Snowy Mountains community who supported the event.

For riders registered in the 2025 event, please keep an eye out in your inbox for information regarding your full refund.


The Classics will continue to host the Bowral Classic (20 October, 2024) and Mudgee Classic (4-5 May, 2025) cycling events.

Each year they donate their booking fee from every booking on the event weekend to The Jindabyne Trail Stewardship – A group of committed volunteers who are vital in continuing to maintain and develop the network of bike trails around the Snowy Mountains. This year the donation is $750!

“Next year we would love to see this donation grow and continue our support of The Snowy Classic & The Jindabyne Trail Stewardship”.
