Registered riders will receive some suggested ride routes (GPX files) prior to Escape #5, or by QR code upon arrival at Jimna Base Camp. There are trails/options for everyone.

If you'd prefer to self-cater, there are options to book camping only for Friday or Saturday nights (or 1 of each if staying both nights) the choice is yours.

Entree: 24km, 530Vm
Main Course: 37km, 850Vm
3-Course Meal: 50km, 1200Vm

Either way we are aiming to make Jimna Escape #5 more accessible to more riders.
✅ Shorter day ride options
✅ Catered Saturday dinner and Sunday breakfast
✅ Pre-booking/payment for camping & meals

That's on top of what has been previously available at Jimna Base Camp:
Espresso coffee, cold drinks, ice creams, chips, assorted sandwiches, filtered water, ice, firewood & portable pits, flushing toilets, hot showers. 👌

Plus, the sports club & bar will be open Saturday night. 🍻

All you really need to do is bring a bike, tent and snacks. Simple.

⭐️B-FAB: A new initiative for 2025⭐️

With the prospect of some riders travelling by vehicle to this year's Escape, we thought B-FAB would be a wonderful way to get everyone together on Saturday arv.
B-FAB stands for "Bring-For-A-Bikepacker" and encourages those who choose to drive to Jimna to pack an extra camp chair, a cold beer, or a bulky snack item that can be enjoyed at camp by one of our committed bikepacking friends. B-FAB can provide a couple of simple comforts to those who often have to sacrifice these to save weight and space.
Perhaps you already know of a buddy who is getting to Jimna under pedal power, or perhaps you can make new friends over a cold beverage by camp.
If you plan to drive to Escape #5 on March 22, B-FAB. 👍

"It's about the journey, not the destination."
Whoever is responsible for this quote clearly hasn't spent time riding their bike in the Jimna surrounds.

For 2025, we're offering riders the option to do just that. Pack your bike and gear into your car, then head up to Jimna. Two fantastic rides have been curated to enjoy both Saturday and Sunday. Each ride has shorter and longer options to suit rider preference.

The traditional bikepack format of Jimna Escape also remains for the purists, only this year you might have a welcoming party upon arrival.

***DATE CHANGE: SATURDAY 22 MARCH***

Due to some reshuffling on the QLD Rally Championship calendar, we've made the decision to shift Jimna Escape #5.
While it would be cool to see the rally cars up close, sharing the trails and Jimna Base Camp is not really what most of our participants are looking for.

The best part: One less week to wait for your Jimna ride weekend.
