This weekend we have two fantastic combinations representing Jimboomba Pony Club at the Pony Club Queensland 2026 State Horse Trials Championships, and we couldn’t be prouder!

🐴 Alaska Carter & Hiccup
Competing in the 12 & Under 65cm Class

🐴 Raven & Nutmeg
Competing in the 13–26 Years 65cm Class

Both riders have worked incredibly hard throughout the season, showing dedication, determination and great sportsmanship to earn their place at this prestigious event.

Everyone at Jimboomba Pony Club wishes Alaska, Hiccup, Raven and Nutmeg the very best of luck this weekend. Enjoy every moment, trust your training, ride your hearts out and most importantly have fun!

🌧️ Mother Nature has had other plans for us this weekend! 🌧️

After far more rain than we ordered, our grounds have decided they’d rather be a swimming pool than a pony club. Unfortunately, this means our JPC Combined Training Day will need to be postponed.

We’re sorry for any disappointment, but this one is completely out of our hands (and definitely not something even the committee can negotiate with!).

A massive thank you to all of our amazing sponsors who jumped on board to support this event. We are incredibly grateful for your support and can’t wait to showcase your generosity when we get this event up and running.

The good news? We’re already looking at alternative dates and will let everyone know as soon as we have one locked in.

Until then, stay dry, give your ponies an extra carrot from us, and keep an eye on our page for updates! 🐴

On behalf of the committee, we would like to thank Bridget for her time as President and acknowledge her service to the club during her tenure. We wish her all the best for the future.

We are also pleased to announce and warmly welcome Tash as our new President.

Over the past year, Tash has been a valuable member of our committee, stepping into a variety of roles and always being willing to lend a hand wherever needed. Her commitment to the club, positive attitude, and willingness to support our members have not gone unnoticed, and we are grateful that she has accepted the opportunity to take on this important role.

We are excited about what lies ahead and look forward to working alongside Tash as we continue to build a strong, welcoming, and successful club for all our members and families.

What a great weekend for our Jimboomba Pony Club riders and horses! 🐴💙

Heidi and Grace represented their school with pride at the DD & SWQ IQ Regional Championships, gaining valuable experience and showcasing all their hard work.

Lily and Brax had a ripper go in an online dressage competition, putting their training into practice and achieving some great results.

Aaliyah spent the weekend sharpening her skills with lessons, continuing to build confidence and strengthen her partnership with her horse.

Ruby headed to Logan Village to practise her cross-country skills, making the most of the opportunity to tackle different obstacles and gain valuable mileage.

Meanwhile, Indi enjoyed some time out on the trails, exploring the great outdoors and enjoying a change of scenery with her horse.

Whether competing, training, practising or simply enjoying time in the saddle, it's fantastic to see our members making the most of every opportunity. Well done to all our riders and their horses, and thank you to the families and supporters who make it all possible. 🌟
