Last night at Gosford we had a very good night
Carole started the night off with 2 winners Logie Magic and She’s Stylish. Then Jeff won race 8 with Miss Mila. 2nd in race 2 with Red Ball Rocket and 3rd in race 3 with Aussie Audrey. To top the night off Scott won Race 10 with Ragin Fire in 22.21.

With 2022 done and dusted we are extremely happy with the success we had with all of our dogs. The countless hours is always worth it in the end. Carole ended up 10th overall in NSW trainers, 1st Gosford trainer and 2nd The Gardens. Thankyou everyone that has helped us around the tracks with kennelling, boxing and catching. Thankyou to the amazing owners that trust us with your dogs. Thankyou to our whole family who support our passion and of course special mention to Jeff and Carole for all the work they does behind the scenes and getting the dogs ready week in week out.
Good luck to all our fellow trainers for 2023.

Got the trifecta up last Tuesday

Last night Scott trained “Paul’s Girl” to win her maiden at her 2nd start. This was a bit of a special win for Paul’s Girl as she is named after her late owner/trainer Paul Abdullah.
Paul passed away this year and his dogs were transferred to his brother Michael. GWIC contacted us to see if we could help out with the training and rearing of Paul’s dogs and last night was Paul’s Girl sprung out of the box and ran a quick 23.05. Congratulations to Michael and your family hopefully many more wins to come.

A great write up today about Scott and Federal Light.

SCOTT Eaton has owned three group one winners, Federal Morgan, Federal Ranger and Jilliby Litsa, but Wednesday's win by Federal Light presented him with his first success as a trainer.

Federal Light, a litter sister to Steve Fairbairn's Wentworth Park Greyhounds winner Federal Aussie, had been placed in four of her previous eight starts at headquarters and Eaton said he had thought Wednesday's race gave her a good chance of breaking through....

Very sad day for us. Our champion dog La Grand Logie has passed away .

Back in 2013 we decided to train greyhounds full time and purchased 2 pups from breeder Michael Jones While picking these 2 up, Carole saw another black pup standing at the fence, barking away. Carole asked if this little noisy one was for sale. As luck would have it, he was and quick as a flash Carole got Jeff’s wallet and bought him without a moment’s hesitation.

We started breaking him very early at about 13 months old and he showed potential in his first run up Redhead. When we got up the top the staff were blown away and commented that he went like a rocket. At that time, we didn’t take much notice but every trial he put time on the board. Despite running FFA times at 15 mths old we had to wait until 16mths before we could PT him. He wowed us with a time of 22.39 at Maitland and his career was born.

He was victorious in his first start running a 22.36 at Maitland. It was then we realised how special he was. He went on to claim 4 wins from his first 5 starts.
In unstoppable form, he won his sixth start (at Wentworth Park) and was then entered for the heats of the group 1 Vic Peters Classic and qualified for the final. Not bad for an 18mth old pup!
Over his stellar career he achieved an amazing 29 wins and 30 placings.

As a sire he had limited litters but every one of his progeny have won races.

He was the most amazing dog for us. He gave 100% effort every race and his best attribute was he had the unwavering will to win. He set our family up for a life of training greyhounds.

We will miss that 6.30am bark to let him out first, the 9am bark to feed him first, the 11am bark for his wee, his 4pm bark to let him out first and our favourite saying “be quiet Caesar!!”

Our hearts are broken today as he was part of our family and will never be forgotten.

We had a very proud moment last night when our 25kg pocket rocket “Princess Audrey” won at Wentworth Park. She is no world be**er but she has a big heart and try’s every race.

Been a bit quiet posting on our page of late. Very proud that Carole finished the month of March with the most winners of any trainer in NSW. We have had a great start to the year with lot of winners. Carole land Jeff’s dogs are flying , Scott getting some winners with some young dogs, and our dogs that are trained in Qld and NZ running amazing. Hopefully we can keep up the great start for the year.

Not greyhound related but Shaun last night won the Central Coast cricketer of the year. Coming back to play on the Central Coast after playing years of 1st grade in Sydney, Shaun went to Brisbane Water who didn’t have a 1st grade side and took on the responsibility to help build the club. Great work shaun going almost as good as the dogs 😂😂😂😂
