For those who like to plan ahead, Easter falls at the end of March next year. Under Dogs West regulations, this would require us to run night trials over the Easter weekend which is not practical with the amount of classes we wish to hold.

As a result, the club has decided to schedule three days of Scent Work trials over the ANZAC Day weekend instead – Saturday 24th, Sunday 25th and Monday 26th April 2027.

𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐃𝐨𝐠 𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐇𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐉𝐨𝐡𝐧 𝐒𝐚𝐦.

The rescheduled workshop will now be held on Sunday 11th October with the Ultimate Trial being held on Saturday 10th October.

Registrations will open in August.

For those that had working spots at the cancelled workshop you will be offered a working spot in the upcoming workshop. If there are any unallocated working spots these will then go to ballot.

With a severe weather warning now in place from Saturday evening, unfortunately the club has made the decision to cancel the Dog Driven Handling Workshop on Sunday 30th May and the Ultimate trial scheduled for 1st June.

All workshop and trial fees will be refunded over the next few days.

We understand this will be disappointing for everyone who were looking forward to the events however safety must remain our priority.

Both the Workshop and Ultimate trial will be rescheduled for later in the year and further details will be provided in due course.

We appreciate everyone’s understanding and please take care this weekend.
