Jamberoo's Division 3 Golf Croquet 'Blue Donny Dog' team made it to the State finals, which were held at Nelson Bay Croquet Club in July, finishing a very creditable 3rd place.
The Captain Jim Cook would like to thank the following members for getting us to the Finals: Kim S, Ross H, Deanne H, Bev F, Jo C.
The finals had teams from Coogee, Mosman, EDSACC Bateau Bay competing.
Team Blue Donny Dog was made up by the following members: Deanne H, Bev F Jo C and Jim C, in challenging tests with the other teams over the two days. Unfortunately, we had an incident/injury to one of our players, which resulted in two matches being forfeited, which in turn placed two 7/0 games against us. However, the organisation of the event was first class; camaraderie was second to none from all teams.
