🏊💙 Ready to Dive In? The Masters Swimming Carnival is Coming to Mildura Waves! 💙🏊

Mark your calendars for 5–6 September 2026 as the Masters Swimming Carnival returns to Mildura Waves for a weekend of racing, fitness, friendship and fun!

Whether you're a seasoned swimmer or just looking for a new challenge, this event is for you.

✨ Here's what you need to know:
🏅 Race on Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning
🏅 Swim up to 3 individual events each day
🏅 Optional relay events to finish each day
🏅 You don't need to be a Masters Swimming member to compete if you're a local swimmer aged 18+
🏅 Expect a fantastic atmosphere with 70–90 swimmers of all ages from across the region and beyond


⏰ Entries close: Friday 21 August at 11:29pm

On behalf of Irymple Swimming Club, we would like to sincerely thank the Mildura Rural City Council who have made this grant possible.
We are incredibly grateful for the support this year of both MRCC and our major sponsors.
Earle Civil, Sunraysia Petroleum, Sunraysia Physiotherapy, Mildura Health Fund, Mildura Waste & Recycling, Garraway Developments & Davison Motors.
The purchase of new elite starting blocks are a critical part of our club's strategic plan to improve our equipment and facilities.
This upgrade will not only enhance the quality and safety of our equipment but will also allow our swimmers to develop better technique and improve their competitive performance at all levels.
Most importantly, these starting blocks represent a long-term investment in our swimmers and our club's future. We look forward to continuing to grow participation in our sport in Sunraysia.
Irymple Swimming Club proudly accepts this grant.
Thanks again to MRCC for your continued commitment to support local sporting clubs and for helping create opportunities for our athletes to achieve their goals.

After a family holiday, it was great to be back tonight with MRCC staff, Deputy Mayor, Helen Healy, Mildura Rural City Council and Glenn Milne Working for Mildura to celebrate this year’s grant recipients.
Huge congratulations to the 58 local groups sharing in over $514,000 through Council’s Recreation Assistance and Events Funding & Support programs 👏

🏊‍♂️ 25m Pool Closure – Sunraysia Swimming Short Course Meet

Please be advised that the 25m Indoor Pool will be closed to general public access on Sunday 21 June 2026 from 9:00am to 4:00pm while we host the Sunraysia Swimming Short Course Meet.

The event will welcome swimmers from across Victoria, New South Wales and South Australia, with local clubs including Irymple, Mildura, Red Cliffs, Robinvale and Murray Darling working together to deliver a fantastic day of competition.

During this time, the 25m pool will be unavailable for lap swimming and recreational use. All other available areas of the facility will operate as normal.

We thank our members and guests for their understanding and encourage everyone to come along and support the athletes throughout the day.
