Afternoon bowlers

Well 28 bowlers thoroughly enjoyed the wonderful fast conditions on the top rink this week…… lol some better than others.

This weeks winners was the team with the Lowest winning score.

Well well well
Is it feeling like the end of winter is approaching us 🤞🤞🤞🤞
But some might say what winter? Did we have a winter??
With the temperatures getting warmer don’t forget to keep hydrated and a little extra sunscreen.

Father’s Day Continuous Raffle tickets are available. See Don each week to get your tickets.
Prize is a $100 meal voucher gratefully donated by the Springfield Hotel.

During the whole month of October we are fund raising for Cancer.
There will be a tin on the main table each week during the month for donations if you wish to.
Also we are having a party day on 22nd Oct (if I remembered correctly…..I’m sure I’ll be corrected if I’m not….. lol)

Well well well, just how much are we loving Mother Nature at the moment with the wonderful weather we are having!!!!
With 8 rinks of 38 bowlers soaking it all in.

Morning bowlers

What another absolutely wonderful day had on the greens this week.

With 28 players relishing in the glorious winter conditions ……. And a twist with the games Director keeping them in their toes, the Skips to 2nd after 10ends, I’m sure there was a bit of re-adjusting to play to be had.

Well 32 bowlers thoroughly enjoyed the greens this week.
What’s not to enjoy when the weather is perfect, the competition healthy and the company great!!!

The Games Director changed things up again this week with a Scrounger’s kitty.
Which apparently some loved and some didn’t……ho hum.

Well what an absolutely wonderful day was had by all at our Christmas in July party day. 🎄🎅🤶🎁🎉🍻🍷

It was great to see everyone dusting off their Christmas outfits and getting into the spirit. Some absolute wonderful outfits. Well done!!! 👏👏👏
Ps…. in this scribe’s opinion….there maybe of been one or two outfits that might have been deemed questionable but in the spirit of the day anything goes……🤪😂🤪😂🤪😂🤪

Good morning Bowlers!!!

What an absolutely beautiful day Mother Nature blessed us with to enable us to get on the green and do what we love……. Play bowls!!!!

With a twist from the games Director…… this week the 2nd’s play skip and the skips play 2nd. It’s always good to experience all positions in a team as it gives all players a better understanding of their role in team.
