Afternoon bowlers!!!!!
Yeah!!!! only 5 more sleeps until we celebrate the year that we have had with IVA at our Christmas Party Day!!!!

I hope we have dusted off our best Christmas attire and are looking forward to the day.

Touch wood……the long range weather forecast is looking good for the day so far. 🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞

Sooooo the day starts with morning tea at 830am, Bowls at 900am then Lunch at 1230pm.
Don’t forget the Secret Santa if you wish to participate.
We will only be having the number board raffle on the day with a couple of Ham’s and a few other prizes to be won.
Also there will be a couple of lucky door prizes to be won.
And the Also a couple of Best dressed Christmas outfit orizes to be won!!!!!

We will be playing 3 bowls triples with a twist on the day…..
So let’s get ready to have some fun!!!

Afternoon all!

What a wonderful day was had by those on the green this week.
Heaps of laughter to be heard all over the green whats not to like……and from the viewing platform, some absolutely wonderful bowls were witnessed!!!!

Runners up on the day with the lowest loosing score. Congratulations Neville, Daryl and Paul. 👏👏👏

With only two weeks left this year we have finalised details for our Christmas bowls and lunch on the 18th December.
Details will be announced this Thursday, 11th December. 🎅🎁🧑‍🎄🥳🎉

Thank you to the 26 bowlers who braved the heat and ventured out onto the greens.
But A very special thank you to the sneaky breeze at the car park end of the greens that enabled the bowlers to stay out there longer. 💨💨💨💨

Well with only two weeks left in the IVA calendar all eyes are on the up and coming IVA Christmas Bowls and lunch on the 18 December.
We will be having a two course meal of Ham and vegetables with a pudding and custard for dessert. Yummo!!!🎅🧑‍🎄🎄

A Secret Santa will be happening if you wish to participate. Gift to be to around the $15.
So come in your best Christmas attire and join us on the day!!!

What a wonderful day was had at the Perpetual Sheild Party Day on Thursday!!!!!

Well another Thursday done and dusted with a twist, “ Wear something Blue”

With a break in the weather it was good to be able to play and all those attending had a wonderful time on the greens.

As always heaps of good bowls, lots of laughter and on one particular rink plenty of good banter was had.

Well there was 22 of us that braved the heat and played on Thursday.
But Mother Nature was kind to us and it wasn’t too bad out there. It also helps when the GD changes the format so we get inside earlier ……. Well done GD.

Well it’s that time again for our weekly blurb…..
Especially since this scribe has thawed out after being down south for a bit….

So another week has going by and as per usual a very enjoyable time was had on the greens with 32 very keen bowlers.

Well well well!!!
I think summer has arrived in Qld!!!!

Just remember people to Slip, Slop, Slap, Sunglasses and Seek Shade.
(So is the song in your head now….😂😂😂)

With 25 bowlers happy to play, game shortened to two bowls triples to accommodate and back inside in the aircon earlier than usual.
