Been a long time since any updates, yes “still” trying to get the car finished. We have quite a bit of involvement with Bowen Motorsport over the last few years and currently enjoying crewing on the 410 Sprintcar.
It took a long time to get the main panels on the sports sedan made, but Ray Avery has done an excellent job.
We will keep chipping away and see if we can get the car on a track in 2025.

We are back racing tomorrow night at Archerfield Speedway. There will be 9 other juniors so it should be a great night of racing.

On behalf of Mark and Stig (Ian), we want to say thank you to everyone over the years who, in some way, has been a part of the story of the “old girl.” Sadly, we say goodbye to the VK as she heads down south to Tasmania for the next page in her incredible history.

What started out as a crumbled shell has brought together two mates and with it, some hilarious moments with friends and family amongst a number of wins and championships. It’s been a privilege carrying on the prestige of one of the most recognisable and historic sports sedans in the country created by the Jolly family.

Thank you to all friends and family involved who have put up with the two of them spending hours on end away from home fuelled by way too many Coca-Colas. More importantly, thank you to everyone for creating some of the greatest memories and experiences all because of one car.
It’s been a blast!

Anyone else miss racing with all sporting events being shut down? Same. So to fill the void, here is one of our favourite videos against Bob in 2014. What a legend and check out the flames!! Crompo shooting past as usual but we will ignore that for now.

No apologies for the wind noise.
Note: Media Crew was not strapped to the wing to get such sweet angles.

So... big skidz at the start of run 3 probably broke the record for longest 11’s out of pit...BUT also meant the rear control arm did not want to be a part of the car anymore which ended our day early. Run 2 had oil from the straight to turn four so Mark decided concrete was not the place to park the car and brought it in.
Thank you to Adelaide Motorsport Festival and all who came along. We managed 3rd fastest after just one run with plenty of time still in it.
