Brothers Ipswich Juniors would like to advise that our canteen will now only be open during training on:

We would like to sincerely thank all of our Brothers families for your ongoing support, patience and understanding as we continue to rely on our amazing volunteers!

Your support of our canteen helps our club continue to provide opportunities for our players and families and we look forward to seeing you on Wednesday nights.

BROTHERS IPSWICH ACADEMY PROGRAM 2026 🔵⚪️🏉

Congratulations to all players who have been invited to participate in the 2026 Brothers Ipswich Academy Program!

Players and families had the opportunity to learn more about the Academy program, expectations, development pathways, and the exciting opportunities that lie ahead both on and off the field.

A huge thank you to everyone who attended and showed their commitment to their rugby league journey. The enthusiasm, engagement and support from our families reinforces the strength of our Brothers community.

This exciting development program has returned this year and has been designed to provide aspiring young athletes with opportunities to grow both on and off the field through skill development, education sessions, guest speakers and pathway opportunities.

The Academy will focus on:
✅ On-field skills and tactical development
✅ Positional awareness and skill identification
✅ Nutrition, exercise, mental awareness and recovery
✅ Insights from guest speakers and experienced professionals

Players will also have the opportunity to build connections with fellow Academy members while learning what it takes to succeed at the next level.

We look forward to seeing our invited players and families to the Academy journey and supporting their development throughout 2026.

🌟 Mental Health Raffle 🌟

Mental Health Round is about raising awareness, starting conversations and reminding our community that no one has to face their struggles alone!

Together, through rugby league- the greatest game of all, we can help create a supportive environment where it’s okay to ask for help and check in on one another!

Our inaugural Mental Health Round fundraiser in 2024 raised $6,550 and in 2025 we proudly more than doubled that amount, raising $14,800 to support mental health awareness 🙌🏻

We are incredibly motivated to continue growing this important initiative in 2026!

Ipswich State High School~ Boys and Girls Trial Day 🏉

The trial is for students in year 7 in 2027 (current year 6 students) and is being held on Wednesday 12th August 2026.

On this trial day, students will have the chance to take part in skills, drills and games to demonstrate their ability to join the Rugby League Excellence program in 2027.

The trials will run from 9am to 1pm, students will need to ensure they meet at Ipswich State High Schools - front oval (located off Hunter Street) and register their attendance at the start of the day.
From here the girls and boys will take part in separate trials in different locations.

Students will need to be collected from the Hunter St Oval at approximately 1pm.

Students will need to bring:
· Boots
· Mouth guard/protective equipment
· Training shirt & training shorts
· Water bottle/lunch/snacks.

Behind every training session, game day, fundraiser, canteen shift, committee meeting and team photo is a dedicated group of volunteers giving their time for the benefit of our club and our players!

Our coaches, managers, committee members, canteen staff, grounds crew and helpers all volunteer because they care about our club and our community.

Please remember that every role is performed by people who are doing their best, often balancing family, work and other commitments alongside their club responsibilities.

A little patience, understanding and appreciation goes a long way!

📣 GIRLS GALA DAY POSTPONED 📣

Unfortunately, due to the closure of fields at Redbank Bears, tomorrow’s Girls Gala Day has been postponed.

We understand this is disappointing for our players and families who were looking forward to a fantastic day of rugby league, however player safety and field conditions must come first.

We will share updated information regarding a new date as soon as it becomes available.
