A reminder to parents of registered athletes, our parent volunteer training day is happening tomorrow, Saturday 5th September from 2pm-4pm.

Please join us and help us ensure our athletes have the absolute best experience as part of their Providence Athletics journey!

And don't forget that uniforms will be able to be purchased from 3PM ONLY. We will not have the facilities available to purchase before this time, so please do not come before 3pm expecting to purchase uniforms.

The 2026/2027 Queensland Athletics and Queensland Masters Athletics season is here, with registrations now OPEN online.

Athletes over the age of 10 years, looking to compete at QLD Athletics or QLD Masters Athletics competitions throughout the upcoming season can now register or renew their membership.

Whether you're aiming for All Schools, QA Shield Meets, QA or QMA State Championships, make sure your membership is sorted for the new season.

Looking to get a uniform before the start of the season?

We will have uniforms available to purchase on Saturday 5th September at the club house during our Parent Volunteer training day.

Uniforms will only be available to purchase from 3PM until 4PM. For those waiting on the racing crops, these have arrived but are limited in size and not available for athletes under 8 years of age.

Play On vouchers accepted. If you plan on using a Play On voucher, please ensure you have your voucher code BEFORE registering online.
Our season begins in September, and ends March, with out first training session beginning 5pm Tuesday 8th September, and our first Centre Meet commencing Saturday 12th September.
Providence Athletics Inc operates at Ripley Valley State Secondary College, training commencing from 5pm Tuesdays and Thursday with Centre meets held on Saturday mornings from 8am.

Our Saturday Centre Meets rely on parents to get involved and ensure events run smoothly.
This includes duties such as measuring, recording, timing, raking, collecting and general wrangling of athletes.
To help with the understanding of the events, we are hosting a parent volunteer training day on Saturday 5th September from 2pm-4pm.
We are inviting all parents, new and returning, to join us and get a better understanding of what is involved in assisting at Athletics events.

There is currently a special community event happening at the Raptordome this afternoon, so parking is a little rough inside the rear parking lot.
We've changed our access point to ensure we don't interrupt the event, so you can access our Sign On day from 2pm from the side access gate from the street.

Our final Sign On day is happening tomorrow from 2pm!
This is your last chance to meet our coaches, committee and some current athletes and learn more about what Providence Athletics has on offer.

If you have already registered, our final Sign On day is a great opportunity to come down and purchase uniforms or pick up your sign on bag.

If using a Play On voucher, be sure you have already received your Play On voucher number from the Queensland Department of Sport

Our Centre Meets cannot run smoothly without PARENTS!
We require parents to assist at their children's events, to ensure our committee members can be available to oversee the running of the meet as a whole.
For this reason, we are asking parents to come along and learn the ropes of running events by speaking to our committee at our next Sign On Day on Saturday 22nd August.
