Congratulations to Ryan Hart, TD Hank Terpstra and Jay Calnin for winning this years South West Classic teams event. This was the 10th time this event has been played.

*DISC GOLF COURSE CLOSED FOR PLAY 30/31st Aug*
Just a quick update for everyone regarding the Disc Golf course this weekend. The Inverleigh Open is running over the 2 days and both courses will be closed to the public.
You are more than welcome to come and spectate if you are interested.

Just a quick update regarding the Inverleigh Disc Golf Open at the end of the month. We are ordering some player pack items at the end of the week and will need to confirm numbers for the amateur divisions. To guarantee a player pack please ensure you have registered by this Friday(Aug 8th), or you may miss out. We have also update the event page with details for camping and the BBQ dinner on the Saturday Night.

***COURSE CLOSED THIS WEEKEND***

The Inverleigh Golf club is hosting their Open this weekend. The course is closed for the comp from Friday to Sunday.

There will be a sign up on Thursday saying Course Closed, but it's fine for disc golfers to play that day.

Just confirming again, the course is closed to EVERYONE this Friday 8th to Sunday 10th.

The Fling A Disc Doubles on Grand Final Eve was another great day and turnout, we had 17 teams over 3 divisions playing an Ambrose style Competition.

Teams were encouraged to dress up to win a $25 flying disc store voucher for each team member which went to Lachlan Telfer and Mark Reiffle (Army Golf ) see bottom right photo. It is back to back dress up wins for the lads at the Fling A Disc Doubles.

The winners of the Divisions on the day were -
Division 1 - TEAM AUSTRIA - Cassie Sweetten & Patrick Robinson
Division 2 - WING IT - Wayne Govan & Don Carter ( WON IN A PLAYOFF )
Division 3 - Die Weisswurste - Alice Reindle & Benjamin Hicks

Stay tuned and get ready for Power League. As daylight savings starts we make the most of the light we will have with a 13 Hole Random layout each week, the layout will be posted with the sign up form each week on the Monday so you know what you are singing up to. The 2024 Inverleigh Open is upon us, with 85+ players currently registered for the event this weekend. To all registered players please check your email as we have just sent out the final event details and the caddy book. Please make sure to have a read so you can plan your weekend.

Don't forget to register for the the Inverleigh Disc Golf Open, as it is only a few weeks away now. It will be a great opportunity to check out some of the new holes that are getting installed on the new course. The event is being played over 2 days on 7-8th of September, on both the white and gold "extended" layouts.
