Well, that is a wrap on 14 weeks of teaching 170 students on a fortnightly rotation to swim, and learn vital water survival skills 🏊🙌🥳

Roughly 90 days in the pool 🏊

It’s been an epic ride, extremely rewarding, lots of fun, at times very waterlogged 🤣, but all in all a wonderful experience! I’ve met some amazing children 🤩🥳

That is a wrap on my weekend warriors swimming lessons for the past 10 weeks 🙌🙌

I am incredibly proud of all of your achievements in the pool ! So much effort, so much determination, so much dedication to learning 🙌, did I mention some “great negotiating skills” as well 😆🏊

Thank you to all of the parents, grandparents and caregivers, for bringing your children along to learn, (and also be well on their way to learning), one of the most valuable lessons in life 🙌

I cannot wait to see you all in term 4 🏊🏊 it’s been an absolute joy to be your Swim Teacher and friend ☺️

When a young man had a near drowning experience in December 2023, and started with me in January 2024, and can now swim lengths of the pool and tread water confidently, duck dive, and dive for sinkies, you know you are doing the right thing 🙌🏊🙌🏊🙌🏊

What a great day !!!

Only 3 lessons in, and a “beginner non swimmer” has now swum a lap (actually several) of the pool 🏊

To say I’m chuffed, and he is chuffed, and mumma bear is chuffed, is an understatement 🙌🙌🙌

This is the most rewarding career ever 🏊🏊🌼🌼🙌🙌

Lessons are going so well for all of the students of Rach’s Swim School 🙌

We are getting some really great results and continuing to make really good progress in the pool 🏊

I am so happy to say that Rach’s Swim School is already making progress and getting some pretty awesome results 🥳

We have little ones blowing bubbles, putting their faces into the water, kicking their legs and attempting to be starfish in the pool !!

We have non swimmers becoming swimmers, really great work 🏊 and doing laps with correct technique 🏊

And we have some swimmers already correcting their strokes !

Such good listening, because as Rachy says “if you don’t listen you can’t learn” 🙌

I love what I do, and am finding myself “High-5’ing” and “air punching” and yelling “woo hoo” often !!

The up and coming swimmers of Inverell are just so dedicated, and so are their families 🙌
