McKinnon Hunting Properties wishes to advise that we have completed property upgrades and are currently taking bookings. Our property is now available for rent on a per week or 4 night minimum basis.

300 acres surrounded by commercial cropping operations, corn, oats and wheat. Open grass fields (previously used for cropping) and open bush, Including a mountain. Small yes however puttingbyiu in the right location for pigs.

We have decided to rent the property like an Air B&B with a care taker onsite. Rent for 4 nights or per week basis.

Dams and seasonal creeks are present.

Communal area:
Hot water shower, Fridge/ Freezer, electric bbq hot plate, Communal Lounge with Fire Place, Open Pit Fire. 20kva Genertor that powers the site providing electricity and camp area lighting.

At present we only offer powered camp sites. However we allow caravans, camper trailers, motor bikes, quad bikes, buggies etc.

4G Mobile phone reception is available at the property.

Hunting dogs and guns are allowed. Guns require SSAA proof of membership and current NSW fire arms licence.

Target Game at this property is Pigs, Foxes and Hares.

Property location Coolatai NSW. 30km north of Warialda NSW.

Property Rental
$2000 per week (7 Nights)
$1300 4 Nights Min
includes fuel for sites 18kva generator. Free firewood.

Care taker now onsite.

Max 10 Persons Applies. Terms and Conditions Apply.

Payment : Visa or Master Card.
20% Deposit: $300

Remainder balance payable in cash on arrival to the care taker.

Our fence lines are coming along nicely. We have nearly finished the new western boundary. Sorry we are still closed for hunting. Heads up... If your travelling up to the north west region please drive carefully. It’s very dry and theres lots of big Roos and the Pigs seen roadside. Not much food or water around so wildlife is on the move. I Thought I would share for those that are looking for a good quality hunting boot. Trying to find good hunting boots that last is very hard these days. We have had reports in that the pig doing the damage to the crops at our Inverell site is a 150-180kg boar standing at estimated about 1m in height. The pig has got away and one dog has been rushed to the vet. Sorry no photos but numerous hunters witnessed the event around 9am this morning. Vet said dog will survive.
