Love Lures CRAYFISH......
Hi to all interested and have been following my latest lure creation, around 6 days this guy has been being designed from 2 wattle pieces and a piece of Willow. I didn't cut corners as every bit has had time put into them, tow point, bib, hand made as the Cray itself. The bib itself is placed inside the Cray without the typical slot so details are not Lost, engraved signature and date underneath the bib. Nothing but a carving knife and sandpaper was used to do both body and nippers, except for the clear coat all the Cray was done with artist brushes. As a lure designer I have lots of Lures and achievements but enjoying every second of the making of this piece and seeing end results has been right up there with any of my other results. The lure is 290mm total length, body I20mm and nippers 100mm. We are putting him up today until 7 o'clock tonight to give others a chance to own him in an Action with a reserve set solid at $700, I don't normally like private bids for fairness to other bidders but for those wishing to keep it private we will respect that to take their offers seriously as well.
