Innisfail and District Tennis Association IDTA provides coaching, tournaments, single/doubles fixtures, cardio tennis and court hire. The Innisfail & District Tennis Association Inc.

is a community based non-profit organisation which is manned by volunteers. It consists of nine tennis courts and a clubhouse (which was built by volunteers in 1977) and is available for use by the residents of the Cassowary Coast Region and visitors alike. has nine courts (seven under lights) and promotes a genre of health, fitness and social well-being so that everyone regardless of age, gender, ability or disability, has the right to learn the sport of tennis. Club Championships were played yesterday and everyone had a great time.
Congratulations to everyone who participated. It was a tad warm but lots of fun and laughs.
Thank you to our major sponsor Innisfail Seaford. Plus Councillor Nick Pervan, Brothers League Club, Rebel Coffee and Kmart.
A big thank you to Phil for organising the day and all the helpers. Plus our wonderful members who provided a banquet at the end of the day.
It was great so see the juniors playing and there are some future stars to look out for.

Innisfail Tennis Club hosted the Malanda Tennis Club in the Tablelands Inter-Club fixture on Saturday 1st August. Great afternoon of tennis and friendships. Unfortunately the rain ☔️ arrived (again) and the last match was cancelled.
Innisfail ended up with the win for the day by 1 game. How close was that!!!!

📣 When is the best time to secure your new Play On! Sports Voucher?

Applications for Play On! Sports Vouchers will open on 27 July, with up to $200 available to help Queensland kids aged from 5-17 participate in sport.

There will be two opportunities to apply this financial year.

If you’re planning ahead for summer sport, it’s best to apply this round. If your focus is on winter sports like netball or football, you may prefer to wait for the round later this financial year.

To help make your application quick and easy, log in to your Enquire account before 27 July and check your details are up to date. ✅
