Excellent weather conditions prevailed as the Innisfail Ladies participated in the Annual Patroness Day, graciously sponsored by Audrey Rackley. Congratulations to the happy team comprising Daph, Chris, Maisie and Carol with Helen, Diana, Lyn and Margaret securing the runner-up position. Notably, Helen also won the lovely bouquet of flowers generously donated by the Rackley family.

The Innisfail Bowls Club hosted the Champion of Champions, where eight ladies competed in the Singles Championship last weekend. Helen Paterson, representing Innisfail, emerged victorious in her first-round match and proceeded to face the seasoned Terry McAlary in the second round. We extend our congratulations to Helen on her commendable performance. Ultimately, Terry McAlary claimed the championship title, defeating Densie Charman in the final match. Congratulations to both Ladies. Well done.

What a jolly day at Mossman for their Annual 'Christmas in July' shingdig! Two rounds of bowls were followed by a two-course Christmas feast. Dell, Chris and Carol picked up touchers for the day while Cheryl and Marg scored big in the Money Cards. Many thanks to Mossman for the festive fun.
