🥋We are incredibly proud of Innisfail JC member, Jorja McKenzie who represented QLD at the 2026 AUSTRALIAN JUDO NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS yesterday! Stepping onto the National mat for the first time, her nerves were high but she fought with courage & determination, winning a Bronze medal in her U13 Girls division!! 🥉 Congratulations Jorja 🌟

Emmalee & Lily, although unable to compete due to injury, showed their support to Jorja and other fellow Queenslanders!

A special thank you to Coach, Paul De Brincat ! Your constant encouragement, guidance & support not only over the weekend, but also in the lead up to the championships is greatly appreciated 🙌🏻

👏🏻Congratulations to Maddix, Rey-Charles, Emmett, Mehtab, Ryder, Jorja, Panuwat & John who competed at the NQ Regional #2 at Cairns JC on Saturday! Their efforts were outstanding with most competing in multiple divisions to ensure there were plenty of good quality bouts and there were plenty of medals as a result of their hard work & determination🥇🥈🥉

Innisfail’s small but mighty all girls team, Jorja, Sellania & Lily showed immense effort at the recent QLD State Titles in Brisbane!
🌟Jorja stepped up to the challenge competing in U13 age division as well as in U15 - winning a Silver medal in each! Great work Jorja🥈🥈
🌟Sellania gained some valuable experience against some strong opponents
🌟Lily won silver in Junior women & unfortunately withdrew from Senior women due to injury🥈
