Milestone Alert 🚨 Marcus Jorgensen will play his 150th Premier League game this afternoon.
He becomes just the 21st men’s player to play 150 games for Hale and 23rd overall. Debuting in 2018 when he was just 16 and became a regular fixture of the 1’s side in 2021.
Total 3 goals across his 1’s career, which is ironic given he started his Prem 1’s career as a young striker! A relatively clean player over the years - just 6 cards in total (5 greens and 1 yellow) - although was known as a fairly firey youngster.
He is a Premiership player from 2023, which coincided with his most successful year in the Olympians Medal count when he recorded 5 votes.
Played State juniors throughout the age groups, alongside others from Hale like Sam Ashton, Jack Pearce and Charlie Norman, during a successful era for WA. He was there in 2022 to kick start the U21’s 5 peat winning a gold medal in Perth.
Part of a lovely Hale family, with his two younger sisters also playing 1’s for Hale. He really does bleed blue and is a great example for those at Hale to look up to.
Good luck today Marcus and we look forward to seeing you continue to grow as a great young man 🩵💙
