A very big congratulations to Delys Dear, our newly announced Life Member for 2026! 🥂

Delys joined Mount Lawley Tennis Club in 1985 and, over more than four decades, has become such an important part of the fabric of our Club.

From serving as Midweek Director, to more than 30 years on the Midweek Committee, organising countless social events and tennis days, supporting Women in Tennis and, of course, keeping our Tuesday morning players very well fed. Delys has always been someone who simply gets in and gets it done.

And if you’ve been lucky enough to attend a club function, you’ll know that Delys’s cooking deserves its own honour. 🍰

Her generosity, energy and willingness to lend a hand wherever needed have made a lasting contribution to our club and the community we love.

Delys, this one is very, very well deserved. ❤️

Congratulations on becoming an MLTC Life Member and thank you for everything you continue to give to our Club.

🎾 Three cheers for our junior champs!

What. A. Season. 💙

13 teams → 9 semi-finalists → 6 finalists → 3 Junior League winners!

A huge congratulations to our 18/U Boys Div 3, 15/U Boys Div 1 and 13/U Mixed Div 1 teams for taking home the trophies! 🏆

And a massive well done to every single junior who took to the court this season. So much effort, improvement, teamwork and great sportsmanship.

Safe to say, the future is looking pretty ace 👏🏻

How do we even begin to describe this weekend? Absobloodylutely exquisite ☀️

The courts were chockers and not just with the “it’s sunny, I should play tennis” crowd. Everyone was down, everyone was playing and the vibes were immaculate. A very good preview of the exceptional tennis season ahead 👀

We even got to put the new set system through its paces on Saturday… and honestly? Worked a treat👌🏼

Come down and join us - fair weather players, tennis tragics and newbies are all welcome 🤗

Our grass courts have officially clocked off for their annual spa retreat 💆

They’re now closed for their yearly maintenance, giving the turf time to rest, recover and come back greener than ever.

A little TLC now, means another season of some of Perth’s best grass courts 💚 We’ll let you know when they’re back in action!
