We’re proud to welcome Miceal Sakunphan to the Southwest Muaythai coaching team! He’ll officially be on the mats from next week.

With 400+ fights to his name including sharing the ring with Muay Thai legends Saenchai and Thongchai, Miceal brings a lifetime of experience competing at the highest level of the sport.

After an incredible fighting career, Miceal has become one of the sport’s elite trainers, passing on authentic, world class Muay Thai knowledge directly from Thailand.

🚨 HERE WE GO!! 🚨

No easy fights over here… straight into the deep end 😅

I’ll be fighting for the Bangla Stadium Belt against a very tough opponent who’s been stacking up knockout wins in both Muay Thai and MMA here in Thailand 🇹🇭

Exactly the sort of challenge I came looking for. If it was easy, everyone would do it!

I’m not going to lie, this one’s got me a little giddy haha 😬

That winning feeling!!! 🏆

Everyone craves it… but .haenga experienced what a lot of people never will, going back to back with victories in just a couple of hours at the WBC tournament 👊

So proud of him. The hard work, heart, and dedication are all paying off! He’s done more classes than anyone in our gym and has been the most consistent in our fighters classes over the past 12 months.

STATEMENT MADE!!!! 🏆

Nevaeh won the WBC tournament with 2 huge wins in just 1.5 hours! In the final, he fought the current Australian WAKO kickboxing champion, but Nevaeh was too good on the day and took a unanimous decision victory in both fights 👊

This kid is the hardest worker in our gym and it’s showing. The heart he showed today was absolutely insane!

Now 3-0 in just 2 months 🥊

Massive day for the kids team overall with 4 kids having 8 fights ❤️

Huge effort from Ella having 3 fights in her debut tournament, while Cooper got the win in his very first fight 👏

The highlight of the day was Annabelle scoring a brutal body kick TKO in the first 20 seconds against a bigger boy 😳

🚨 MAJOR TIMETABLE CHANGES STARTING MONDAY 11/5/2026 🚨

44 CLASSES!!!!!

✅ NEW Monday Morning Class 5:30am–6:30am

✅ NORMAL KIDS CLASS TIME CHANGE
Our normal kids class for all new and existing kids members will now run 3:45pm–4:15pm

This class will have a completely new structure focused on Better fundamentals, More discipline & focus, Faster development, Clearer progression pathways for juniors.

But the biggest change… 👀

🔥 INTRODUCING OUR INVITE ONLY KIDS COMPETITION PROGRAM 🔥

✔️ 5 days per week
✔️ Structured athlete development pathway
✔️ For serious junior athletes wanting to compete or already competing

Adrian’s Invite Only Kids Boxing Class every Saturday 🔥

🥊 Tuesday Boxing Class is now Boxing Sparring — all levels welcome

🔥 Beginner Muaythai Sparring Classes Wednesday & Friday

⚠️ IMPORTANT FOR PARENTS ⚠️The kids competition classes are strictly invite only and parents must receive an invitation and upgrade their child’s membership to attend these classes.

These changes are all about creating stronger structure, better development and building one of the best junior pathways in Australia 🇦🇺
