Yesterday Noorla hosted the Carmel Mammino Memorial day . 42 keen bowlers took to the greens with a paddle pop draw.
A great afternoon was enjoyed and the sponsors , Grandson Micheal and Grand daughter Amy, handed out the first and second prizes .
Winners were Thommo , Diane Tomba and Maria Moore
Runners up Glen Rose , John Leonardi and Gary Ketterer.
Thanks to Dora for her great afternoon tea and Chrissy and all that attended and made a great day in the memory of Carmel.

Noorla Ladies held their Ladies 4,s Competition . Sadly only 2 teams competed , . Winners by 5 points , were Sue Pizzi , Vanda Raiteri , Chris Hewett and Carla Pizzi . Runners up Rosemary Rose , Alicia Wegert ,Gail Bison ,Nella Mancuso. A very competitive game was enjoyed by our ladies. Missing from photo 2 Alicia .

A wonderful day on our green today with visitors and locals alike having a great afternoon . Winners today was Thomas’s team of Rosemary Rose and John Silvini . Jackpot pairs is on this Sunday 8 pm for 8.30 start names to Joe Mugica by 12 pm Saturday ph 0447 768 621 .

Noorla Ladies, please note that our Herbert River Challenge has been postponed until further notice. Normal social mixed bowls will resume on Wednesday afternoon. Visiting lawn bowlers are welcome to join us for a game. To participate, please phone 47762179 between 11:30 am and 1:00 pm on Wednesday for a 1:30 pm start. Additionally, individuals interested in trying lawn bowls are also invited to join.

On Wednesday, Noorla hosted its Happy Home day. Thanks to our generous sponsors, Generational Wealth Partners. The winners were Glen Rose's team, comprising Rosemary Rose, Albert Bison and Gail Bison. The second-place getters were Lynette Melvin's team, consisting of Elsa Piotto, Luisa DiBella and Gina Wright. The third-place getters were Russell Peterson's team, comprising John Leonardi, Sue Pizzi and Carla Pizzi. Afternoon tea was special, thanks to Dora and Chrissy, and all the players who assisted on the day. Appreciation is also extended to the Ingham club for all the teams that participated and helped fill our green.
