Victoria Mill Social Club Victoria Mill Social Club is a place for the nearby workers of the Mill to come and enjoy a beer It's simple to join, and only costs $52 a year.

The Social Club opens every Thursday (excluding holidays) from 4pm. It is a meeting point for the workers of Victoria Mill to come after work for a beer or two. Throughout the year, workers contribute money each week to go towards the Christmas Party at the end of the year. The committee aims to organise a great end of year party, with the children of the workers being the main focus. There are al

ways heaps of activities, such as face painting & sand art and rides for the kids, as well as heaps of steaks, sausages, ice-cream and drinks for them to enjoy. Santa also comes along to hand out presents for all the children up to 12 years of age. With this membership, along with a present for your child/children at Christmas time, comes the added bonus of free hire of the club for any functions, be it 21st or a Wedding. All we ask for is a $300 bond for the hall and a $50 bond for the chairs, which will be refunded upon inspection of the hall after your function. The club is fully air-conditioned, and has three separate function rooms, so there is plenty of room to spread out. We have 20 tables and 60 chairs available for hire, and there is room to seat 80 people comfortably. There is the convenience of a fully equipped kitchen to prepare your parties feast. The club also has a bain marie to hold any hot foods. We also have two large barbeques for use, and the odd pig-on-the-spit has been known to be cooked there as well. The bar can be utilised and stocks most popular beers, with the option of spirits and wine, at affordable prices, or you can supply your own drinks, with plenty or room to store large eskies. The club is also for hire for non-members. Prices for the general public are as follows -
$300 bond
$300 hire of hall
$50 bond for chairs

Another huge thanks to one of our stalwarts of the club and new retiree Kerry Hanson. Kerry will be missed for all his input, hard work, help and cheap shots 😁 that he has given to the club over the many years. Thank you also to his wife Sue who has stepped in and helped on many occasions. We sincerely appreciate everything you both have done. ❀️

Social club party is still happening. It’s going to be a wet one but we still have a pig ready to go. Rides could be limited this year but Amusements Plus are endeavouring to do their best to bring the kids some entertainment.

Just a reminder that our belated Christmas party is still going ahead. Starting at 2pm. Amusement Plus will be here with their rides including a giant slip and slide so bring your togs and towel! Sand art will be set up inside. We have a pig roasting away for some delicious pork and gravy rolls and steaks and sausages as well.
Bar will be open for refreshments.
