Another prize day done and dusted, player's were a little scarce again with 6 eager golfer's teeing up. A repeat of last week, scores were very tight apart from one stand out, net scores 25, 27, 28,28,28, 28 😳. Firstly closest to the pin, Gavin, who missed out on a 'hole in one' by about 30cm, and also scored the only birdie for the day on #8, won holes 2, 3 (the major prize) and also 4 and 8, Dan holes 1 and 5, Judy 6 and 7, Robbie 9. After a 2-way count back against Gavin, Dan won best gross score with his par on #9 with 37. Winner of the game 🥁🥁🥁 .. Blackout 41/25, 2nd Robbie 39/27, and after a 4-way count back Dan 37'28 ..... A note to players, we are looking at holding our Noosa Valley Challenge mid Sept, if there is a Sunday that doesnt suit now is the time to speak up ⛳

Only 4 players today, the remainder are busy travelling the world. The 4 of us managed a total of 12 par's, which isnt too shabby for hackers on a challenging course. Net scores came in at 25, 26, 27, 28 so a pretty damn close game, winner Robbie with 37/25, 2nd Gavin 35/26, 3rd Judy 38/27, Roy missed out on any riches with 43/28 but he did have a win last week. Next Sunday is our monthly prize day with all the usual goodies on offer, everyone welcome, tee off 8am ⛳

Home away from home . Heading to south of Thailand Saturday about 900 klm drive . Haven't seen any posts re golf hope all is well. See you all in a couple of weeks.

Today's result's : Has Darryl hustled us 🤔 .. just jokes but Darryl done very well today 👏 coming in with a winning score of 43/27, well done !! Then there's Paul, we tried to tame him by stripping his handicap but to no avail, 1 stroke behind to take 2nd place with 34/28, after a 4 way 2 hole count back Judy 3rd with 39/30, no birdies once again, spring is near, hopefully then we will get a few birdies chirping ⛳

Monthly prize day result's : Nearest to pin's, Judy holes 1, 8, 9, Gavin 2, 7, Paul the major prize hole 3 and also 5, Al 4, 6. Best gross score Paul with 35 who also won the game with 35/25, after a 2 way count back Al 2nd with 38/30, Gavin 3rd with 37/30. No birdies but Paul did get a run of par's, 4 in a row by bad memory ⛳

19-07-26 : We had 3 visitors join us today, Darryl and Madonna's daughter Renee, and Paul and David who are caravaners staying in Imbil for a short while, was great to meet you all, hope you enjoyed our tricky course. Our new number 3 green was commissioned today, not quite ready but hey, why not give it a try. Our visitors didnt need to worry about local knowledge, most of our regular's had a shocking round. Judy won the game with 39/29, after a 3 way count back Paul 2nd with 40/31, David 3rd also 40/31, no birdies to report. Next Sunday will be our monthly prize day, all welcome ⛳

12-07-26 : What a cracker of a morning to be golfing, although the superb conditions didnt help some of us 😔 .. winner was Al with 36/25, 2nd Blackout 44/28 and Gavin 3rd with 35/29, no birdies to report ⛳
