If that deadlift weight is too heavy,look at going approx 85-90% of your 1RM… Heavy

If your going at this one alone -
1) Half the rounds
2) On the last 5 rounds, go:
12-9-6
Air Squat
Lunges
then 90sec Air bike.

Lack Of Direction

⬇️⬆️⬅️↗️↖️↘️

💪🏽 We know for sure that personally,we would like to feel good in our own skin,have a body that’s robust and can move well in every day life outside the gym walls.

💡 It sounds pretty strait forward, but for some of us it isnt…Here are a few main reasons

❌ Their is too much information and confusing information to choose from
❌ Time is a HUGE constraint
❌ You have no guidance or accountability
❌ Your training is making you sore the next day causing you to miss days,making it impossible to be consistent.

😁 The good news for people who are stuck in any of the above scenarios,or maybe even a few of them, we’ve taken this into consideration when building our roadmap for what and why we do what we do.

🥅 Our goal is to teach,guide and develop you in way that we are constantly looking for ‘short term’ wins alongside ‘long term’ development. Creating habits you can carry for you for the year of your life.

Ever heard the ‘i i don’t do weights because i’ll get too bulky’?

We have,all the time…

When people say they don’t want to get too ‘bulky’,it usually comes from numerous places of thought…

1) They have heard the myth that women get too bulky when lifting weights.

or

2) it’s used as an excuse to avoid exercise for whatever reasons and they might not want to commit to the time and effort it takes.

We’re here to tell you that any lean or muscular body doesn’t happen by accident and certainly doesn’t just sneak up on your average gym goer that trains 3-5days a week for an hour each time. You won’t just magically wake up one day and look in the mirror and say ‘wow i went too far with this’

The lean and muscular physiques in the ‘myth’ people usually talk about are usually the ones at the top of their chosen sport-
Body Building
Crossfit,
Strong Man/Women
or whatever else it is they do..

When doing this,they’re looking at the finished product,and simply dis regarding the years and years of training,nutrition,sacrifices and recovery on top of that to make sure their bodies are performing at their peak day in and out.

^ Probably something 99.9% of people that attend a gym aren’t prepared to do.

So,next time you hear someone use this excuse, explain this post to them… or send them our way and we’ll make sure they avoid getting ‘bulky’ and educate them on why EVERYONE needs to be doing some form of resistance training 💪🏽

Did you make any new year resolutions?

Chances are, your have probably already given up or backed right off your resolution.. Sound right?

The main reason people give up is they try to accomplish to much too soon and you loose sight of what your really trying to do in the first place. You choose big goals that aren’t broken down to actionable pieces. 🧩

Let’s say you want to loose some body fat, you go in, completely change the way you eat and start exercising. It starts off good but your addiction to your old habits kicks back in and you can’t be bothered with your new diet and exercise because it’s not ‘you’. And just like that your back on the roller coaster. 🎢

Instead, all you had to do see some results in the first few weeks could be as simple as,reduce any refined carbohydrates, and walk 20minute a day.
You’ll then get addicted to the progress such small things can do, you’ll then want to take the next step. > No refined carbohydrates,limit sugar intake, gym session and only drinking alcohol Saturdays is an example. 🍻

Notice how we don’t go cold turkey on eliminating demonised food groups. We slowly reduce it so it sticks in the long run 🏃🏽

Just like someone giving up smoking, how many last going cold turkey? Some do, but majority don’t. 🦃

Your health can’t be fixed by simply waking up on January 1 or somewhere else in January and starting a crash diet and spending hours in the gym. Rather than the quick fix, you need to look to try and replace the old habits with new ones which happen in small actionable steps that will slowly accumulate and slowly just become part of your lifestyle.😆

Their is no perfect time to improve your health. Starting on Wednesday or Thursdays,Today, is better than the typical ‘i’ll start monday’. Why not now? 🛠
