NOTICE OF AGM - Hurstbridge Hurricanes

Time: 7:00pm
Date: Wednesday 19th August 2026
Place: In the office at Hurstbridge Basketball Stadium, 50 Graysharps Road, Hurstbridge

Purpose:
1. Confirm Minutes from last AGM
2. Receive committee reports (including Treasurers and Presidents report) covering previous financial year.
3. Elect Officers of the club - nominations are sort for the below positions:
- Secretary
- Vice President
4. Any special business (notice to be provided to secretary in writing 7 days before meeting date)

Need a new playing singlet? Outgrown last season's uniform? Looking for Hurricanes merch?

Our Uniform Shop is now open:

🗓️ Tuesdays: 6–7pm
🗓️ Wednesdays: 6–7pm

📍 Open every week except school holidays and when training isn't running due to public holidays.

Whether you're joining the club for the first time or just need a replacement uniform, we'll help get you kitted out for the season.

Our Uniform Shop is open every week during the season, making it easy to grab everything you need before you hit the court.

🥧🌪️ HURRICANES PIE DRIVE IS HERE! 🌪️🥧

Need an easy dinner for a cold winter’s night? Stock the freezer and support the Hurricanes at the same time!

We’ve teamed up with Tony’s Pies of Essendon for a fundraising pie drive, with a delicious range of pies, pasties, sausage rolls, quiches and sweet pies available to order. Every order helps raise funds for our club.

🥧 Pickup: Thursday 30 July
❄️ All products are supplied freshly baked and can go straight into the freezer.

🏀 AUTUMN SEASON PRESENTATION DAY 🏀

Join us on Sunday 21 June at the Hurstbridge Community Hub as we celebrate another fantastic Hurricanes season!

Our coaches will be presenting team awards, recognising individual achievements and reflecting on all the hard work, improvement and team spirit shown throughout the season.

We'll also have:
🍕 Pizza available
🥤 Drinks available
🍬 Lolly bags available
🎟 Door prizes and raffles for every age group

Presentation times are staggered by age group, so please check the schedule on the graphic.

We'd love to see all players and families there as we come together to celebrate the season and the amazing Hurricanes community.

Calling all 5-10 year olds! Come and try basketball with 'Mini Hurricanes' - absolutely no basketball experience or knowledge needed!

We're running 2 sessions on the following Tuesdays in June:
