Krankie is fortunate to have a comprehensive write up this month in Phil Latz's Micromobility report, April issue. Phil is a bicycle media veteran, owning a number of prominent Australian cycling publications in the past. Micromobility report brings together a host of information on products (bikes, ebikes, cargobikes, scooters ...), local infrastructure issues, recreation topics (rail trails, MTB parks etc) to name a few. Free to subscribe. Great work Phil.

Andrew Graf is manufacturing possibly the most complex bikes ever to be made in Australia. Krankie Cargo Bikes are tilting tricycles but not the usual kind!

First trike delivered with a rain/sunhood, finally got there. Master marine upholsterer craftsman & long term friend Luke from 1980's share house days recruited to develop the patterns & machine up the first products. I doubt there are better quality hoods in the hood.

Nundle to Armidale via Kootingal, Limbri, Walcha Rd & Uralla over the final 2 days. Beautiful scenery & quiet roads (besides the final 30kms on the New England Hwy). A cracking welcome by my friends Kate & Pete in Armidale, some much appreciated R&R enjoyed with them before training back to Sydney.

Sandy Hollow to Nundle via Gundy & Isis river valley over 2 days. Brilliant riding country again, quiet, absolutely favourable riding conditions with overcast skies & a gentle tail breeze, lots of water replenishing possibilities. Some climbing today getting over Crawnies pass. Where's the pub!!

2 days seeing the Bylong valley at it's absolute finest. A dramatic storm thrown in, a flooded Goulburn river that necessitated some backtracking and change of route to Armidale. The usual cursing of every rise in the last hr of the day, that's a given for cycle touring.
