Plenty of finals action happening this week for our “tiny little two-team club”!
❤️Roley Masters starts their finals campaign with a semifinal against Whitfords at 7pm this Wednesday 2 September, at Hale turf in Doubleview.
💚Roley Metro defeated Mundaring 2-1 last weekend, earning a place in the preliminary finals 2pm this Saturday 5 September at Charles Veryard Reserve in North Perth, against Harlies.
❤️💚🏑🎉 Head on down in your best green and gold to cheer them on! 🎉🏑💚❤️

Look who’s in the semi finals!! Well done to the Metro 4 team - AKA our Classy Grassies - for making finals, especially after being promoted into this grade at the start of the season. It’ll be a battle of former Hills Association teams as Roley plays Mundaring, at 2.45pm this Saturday at Troy Pickard Hockey Centre (grass fields), to see who progresses to the preliminary final.

Hockey mums are the best mums: the ones who sign us up for team sport and dedicate their weekends to driving us across town to stand beside a field in the rain, who play hockey to show us what teamwork and persistence look like, who play alongside us on the field, who cheer us on from the sidelines long after we can drive ourselves to a game, who convince their grandkids to play too - ALL the different hockey mums and mum-figures.
This is our hockey family and we wouldn’t be the same without our hockey mums. Wishing all our Roley Hockey Mums a wonderful Happy Mother’s Day!
