🌿 Grounds Maintenance Contractor Opportunity – Archery Park Whiteman 🌿
Archery Western Australia is seeking expressions of interest from a reliable contractor to assist with grounds maintenance at Archery Park Whiteman.
As part of our commitment to maintaining a safe, welcoming and sustainable facility, this role will work alongside and support our volunteer workforce in delivering the Archery Park Range Management Plan and ongoing site maintenance activities.
The role may include:
• Mowing and whipper snipping
• W**d management
• General grounds upkeep
• Basic irrigation and maintenance checks
• Supporting volunteer maintenance activities as required
We are looking for someone who:
✅ Has an ABN
✅ Holds appropriate insurance
✅ Is reliable and able to work independently
✅ Has experience in grounds, parks, landscaping or property maintenance
The arrangement offers flexible scheduling and ongoing work, with hours varying based on seasonal requirements and maintenance needs.
Archery Park Whiteman is one of Western Australia's premier archery facilities and supports community participation, club activities, coaching programs and major events. This role will help ensure the facility remains safe, accessible and well-maintained for all users.

Marian Newitt Memorial Shoot

Wow, what a wild experience! It was a shame that a few people missed out, but well done to everyone who braved the conditions. It was definitely a character-building day, that’s for sure!

This is a full 2-day seminar and an amazing investment into both your own and your youth archers’ development and future in the sport.

Daniel Wolfe is always fixing something around the club. As our Equipment Officer and Club Treasurer, he puts in countless hours helping members by fixing and setting up compound bows for both our youth and adult archers — no job is ever too big or too small. Daniel loves to tinker and has helped set up the club bow workshop to an incredibly high standard. Thanks to his dedication, we have all the tools and equipment needed in the work area to keep everything running smoothly.
